::Rambling On My Mind::

How much would you give, to be...the one?

D’evil made me do it, stumblin’ through a low fog;
finding myself alone where two country roads cross.
Looking for a place of peace inside this mind of mine,
but time, it flies when scribing these kinda violent rhymes.
With artistic mastery, capturing our harshest realities,
for the slightest catharsis, escaping the marsh of banality
its lonely here in purgatory …so brooding, moody and cold…
I get lost behind the picket fence, like I’m losin’ my soul
I’m lost behind the picket fence, y’all I’m losin’ my soul
in exchange for this emptiness…
What do I do with the hole?
I’m feelin’ the blues…It’s dark hued calls’ve got me, y’all…
Maybe cos’ nowadays I’m not really feelin’ hip-hop at all.
E’ybody’s a rapper: drops in a bucket of mountainous filth
so if you’re unique, no matter how wack, your counted as ill.
So, D’evil told me, “succumb to thou bottomless screams,
the horrible need to express obsessions and anomalous things
floating in the moat of consciousness, where sodomy scenes
fight to dominate needs you harbor of accomplishing dreams.
Embrace the hallow face of sorrow… script them in serials
with the hellhounds on you, you should have plenty material.”
He touched me on my forehead and my skull divided
and every thought inside it, spilled forth with force behind it.
Sending my fingers hurdling to earth to fervently speak
about my brain’s murder scenes, and they nervously weep.
Flipping phrases acrobatically, magically the pages’ll drip
Squid-ink black liquids, tracing written havens for sick
SickSick…Demonic ebonics, moving with perverted inertia
Fuck their cacophonic harmonics…this verbage will hurt ya
I said, Fuck they cacophonic harmonics, my words’ll still hurt ya
I’ll lace all my honest comments…
with precursory murda
There’s passion too in the Blue darkness, slick organic lust,
screaming through your jean seams with an orgasmic hush.
I’ll wade in those waters of the Mississippi Delta,
then stroke to open seas, and let the ebb and flow melt the
frigid tepid flow. Speakers are freed once D’evil’s left their minds
it’s the river’s Reed where he can stand the test of time
and yet I find, even with power, happiness is still a lost hope
after I left the picket fence at them lonely crossroads
after I left the picket fence at them lonely crossroads
after I left the picket fence at them roads…Lawd, help me.

brought me to the scene well. in this you balanced scene and summary, which is what makes a good read. i got both sides/points, the vibrant inner character in the speaker, and his surroundings. this is what makes you dope.

keep on keepin' on.

this shit should have got read more..real nice RC, i don't like everything you write..But this is one of those outstanding pieces..had real nice wording..immaculate flow from the way i read it, probably better with the way you spit it (since it's your rap)..anyways..i like D'evil concept..narrating the power of your skills...a fresh flip on such an elaborate concept..

So, D’evil told me, “succumb to thou bottomless screams,
the horrible need to express obsessions and anomalous things

thats ill imagery..

Piece was hot. Period. The word choice and flow were exquisite. Indeed, even the repetitions worked to enforce the thoughts of your choice. I always like talkin' to people in my pieces, so the 'y'all' portions were right on time for me. Ill-ass piece, cuzzo. Raise it up

Be easy

This reminded me of when Ray Charles walked into that country music club and started playing piano! lol

Wow though. I knew you liked country cos of that Johnny Cash thing you did, but this was more country, if you get me. I'm not a massive fan of country, but I do like Emmylou Harris, Hank Williams Snr, Johnny Cash, and a few others, but yeah, this is why you write and listen to music and write!

Did RC pull out a spoken word: "Repeat the same three lines, repeat the same three lines, repeat the same three lines" for emphasis haha...

nice read, u have to update me about stuff, i'll most likely be around more

whoa this was dope

some of my favourite parts:

So, D’evil told me, “succumb to thou bottomless screams,
the horrible need to express obsessions and anomalous things
floating in the moat of consciousness, where sodomy scenes
fight to dominate needs you harbor of accomplishing dreams.

this flowed so well and actually meant something

frigid tepid flow. Speakers are freed once D’evil’s left their minds
it’s the river’s Reed where he can stand the test of time

again flowed and just rolled of the tongue

well basically it all rolled of the toungue and fitted into place nicely

good job... .. .
